The has cometh! Yep
So I may just check how madam foamy is coping. Sigh. Might start transfering a few more pages across.

when you post art you’re really proud of and it gets no notes
Sigh. I think if I do my Space Knight armour I’ll get mistaken as part of Zod’s army.
By Space Knight I mean “here are a few pieces of gothic plate inspired armour and here is a bodysuit and here is an exciting lasergun pew pew”. The Female Templar from Hellgate was the first to catch my eye. Then Blood Dragon in ME2 (and 3) and now pretty much all miltary gear from Krypton. Hmmmmmmmmm…..
Also Faora is my height. So nice to actually finally see an actress my height on screen for scale reference! They are all either 4 inches taller or 4 inches shorter. Padme and Satine I am looking at you both and your gorgeous actresses. Basically it means I get a better idea for proportions (humans don’t scale perfectly with a shift key.
And now I am totally digging a leathery sunray pleated cloak and then being transported back to the the He Man movie and the first villainess I fell in love with. And who inspired my early forays into what would be fan art under a different name. Also everything from Willow. But that is going from dodgy scifi to scifantasy straight to actual fantasy.
But yeah, I have my future mech-lite armour (Shae) my future sports protection (Liara)and alien if you squint you’ll find my armour Darth Talon).

Well with half a hide and only a bikini to make from it I thought why not…

It may actually take more, but this is a guide to scaling. When working with leather I’ll be able to wet form shapes and details in that take up extra pages. Now I just need to work out the scale needed for the arms. The legs (leg) has been done and I need more scissors, double sided foam tape and masking tape.
And my new lenses from the Mall…. okay I think I can do this.
Teaser as to what I am up to.

Also lots of inspiration. I love blended armour. Which is why i wanted to make the Hellgate Templar gear. I also love the Blood Dragon armour. In fact a little more so as it has a higher dregree of functionality (the proper chest shape, the thighs being obviously strapped, knee protection and then the abilit for lots of motion.
And then tehre is Gaora. And Gail Simone posting some 2D art with the same space armour theme going on. And I am now all torn.
Except I think got extremely inspired.
Anyway I have the dgital copy of the Mass Effect art book now and am collecting the comics piecemeal. I’ve also found ways to mod in game armour that has been allowed even when playing multiplayer. So I may wind up bribing people with cookies so I can watch the story and customise my Shep and get them to do the clicking and the mousing and then leave me to collct fishies and buy drinkies because those are fun. And yes, I have tried a hand held mouse and a game pad. Nope. Can’t use any of them. And Wii and Kinect affect my larger joints so big old world full of no for most games.

Finally an armour project that ticks all the boxes 🙂 On the to do list for years, is inspired in turn by armour wanted even longer. Adaptable. Able to be made from stash. Method is relatively easy on my body. Printing guides to make sure there is enough.
Too tired to get up but can’t go back to sleep. Also pain. feet to chin, so up to get the pills and see how that goes.
