The Cosplay Room is a new endeavour to get cosplay events rockinā at Geddon and weād really love for you guys to come along to the panels running in this room and show your support, so we can show event organisers that people love this stuff and maybe it should happen again sometime. š

Femshep is buffed to silver!!!!
I have a few issues with the bodysuit needing cleaning and one or two spots where adhesive has stuck where it shouldnāt.. but I have glue and more velvcro. And the day is as grey as I expected. Of course!
But I will be able to paint the sealer and thenā¦

No one is running medicine and soup over to your house when you say you donāt feel good. No one is running you to the hospital when youāre crumpled up in pain. Doctors donāt run around you ordering immediate tests and…
This part in particular. Because you feel like crap so often people don’t come around and see how you are because they have aready done that.Ā
I have several times where i know I should have been in hospital hooked up to either those antibiotics that actually work or at least on a saline drip but didn’t because I have learnt how to do all that stuff at home, Even though it takes longer and I feel like hell for longer weeks in fact. It’s also in part because when you rock up to ER you have to give a pain scale and I’m always.. ummm…. I can’t tell because some of those pain receptors are actually blocked due to high traffic but I can feel all the wonderful other chemical cascades going on making me unable to focus…. so ummm probably 3 and 9 at the same time?

I saw the very top of the image and had a panic attack. I have my own black widow packed away and am just hoping like mad that it will travel safely.
When you have sanded a 50” prop smooth as well as crafted it in full there is a mix of pride and fear. Kind of can’t hide. Well I almost could hide behind it to be fair….
Today was supposed to be wholly dedicated to sewing for Arma but somehow Iāve ended up at metal work.
Iām totally okay with that! Want to post pictures of my work but at the same time want to wait for the full costume/makeupā¦..

So fun seeing people blog about costuming for Armageddon š See you both there? I’ll be in the extremely uncomfortable Blood Dragon armour (modded to have interference overlay and no dragon- basically I can’t figure out a paint to go over the Rub n Buff…. so it’s a mod!) the 50” long (125cm long) Black Widow sniper and teeny tiny space hampster- no one messes with my hampster- go for the eyes!). BTW my prop meets all safety guidelines so ahahahahaha- card with a thin fibreglass overlay (glass tissue, how I love and hate it, but mostly love). So long as it doesn’t break in my suitcase.
Oh and purple hair. My one fb teaser photo makes it look burgundy but it’s not. Now I need to roll a Miki Shep with purple hair. She’ll be an adept as well as brawler because machinf “f” over and over again is very cathartic. And I need to to get the first game working because I also want Phoenix armour. Feaking pink armour!
Anyway, as cosplay contest co-ord and judge for the show I’ll be as available as I can be for talking to. So if I have epic health fail I’ll be in my N7 leggings and hot pink NASA hoodie and that purple hair. So please come find me, introduce yourself even if we have met before because doing so many shows means I need to meet you at least a few times or be reminded of very specific costume detaills.Ā
I have done the same. I want to post photos. My fb friends have seen Mr Beanie Pants (hampster) and the collar of my armour but not the full thing and definitely not the full thing in silver and interference. I have some hand sewing to do at the show but not much- I didn’t accound for how firm the funky cool elastic I have used is.
Okay, time to get the certificates and envelopes and forms converted to PDF for takingwith me.
