I cleaned my overlocker and though there was no fuzz in the areas where the looper threads pass through… the tension issues resolved! It really did come down to cleaning! I may want to get the blades sharpened…
My sewing machine spits the dummy if the bobbin is put in with the thread pulling clockwise, that tiny bit of extra tension from having it pull anti clockwise (and then clockwise out of the bobbin case) makes the tension just-so. My Husquy though has a bobbin case that comes out and so it regularly needs taking out and the screw turned.
These are all though the very first items in troubleshooting in the various manuals 😉
