Inspiration: Madame Vastra from Doctor Who- and historic sportwear from the era she is depicted in.

Prosthetics sculpted by hand on two head casts of my own head- again self molded and cast, in fiberglass for ease of use.

Silicone face prosthetic cast in PlatSil 10 with not quite enough deadener and not quite enough pressure to make it super thin and expressive. Painted with Platsil 10 thinned with Fuelite (white petroluem spirit) and hand brush as well as airbrushed. Paints tinted with custom pigment mixes suspended in diluent for ease. Glued with more PlatSil 10 and heat set. Small amount of tinted silicone to blend the edges.

Latex fins cast in latex, painted in acrylics, glued with Prosthetic Aide.

Latex bald cap made by brushing tinted latex over a headcast, trimming and cutting holes for ears- not just vital for hearing but to prevent air pressure on the airs building and causing pain.

Final painting of neck and eyes/mouth in a mix of Alcohol Activated paints. Same paints used to tone the silicone and latex.

Katana hand planed and sanded from a piece of Rimu beading for door jams. Handle wrapped in duct tape as atemporary measure, guard dremeled from 3mm extruded (not expanded) PVC. Painted in acrylics as a temporary measure. Blade painted in thinned black acrylic to soak, then painted with Pearlex in acrylic gloss barnish.

Katana sheath made from three strips of extruded PVC sheets welded with PVC weld and a strip of leather contact cemented over. More strips of leather painted in gold acrylic (mix of varnish and Pearlex) glues and tied in place to hold the leather and to provide future support for support rigging. Guard also made from extruded PVC and welded to internal frame with more PVC weld.

Blue wool hunting outfit made several years ago using 1890s dressmaking techniques, including hints on how to mix tailoring techniques. Bodice  and skirt are fully lined in blue linen with all raw edges hidden. Each has hand sewn thread bars and purchased hooks to fasten. Buttons are decorative only to allow for some reshaping.

Boot covers made from leather and originally made for maleficent. They are worn over a pair of ankle high Doc Martens

Belt and baldric tidied and reshaped purchased belts.

Gloves also purchased, black leather.
