Saw the latest xray. Oh my, we have actual fusion happening in the carpels, I already knew the scaphoid was down to a nub but um.. well.. there are no spaces and she did say “fused”. And advanced.
Also very clear porous tips to my fingers. But, the joint spaces remain open!!!! So when I do have swollen and stiff fingers there is still a reason to treat it immediately with steroids 
But yeah, basically my only surgical option is fusion and that ain’t happening. I have limited range, and permanent hot itchy pain but no no no no no.
Anyway. So I am definitely taking it easy with sewing and anything that presses my fingers tips. The DIP is a bit loose in feeling, which sounds so backwards.
